Das Milieu des Kurzfilms, mit unzähligen Festivals als wichtigste Orte der Resonanz, scheint mit der Kurzlebigkeit des Formats verwoben zu sein – herausragende Arbeiten bekommen oft einen intensiven Schub an Aufmerksamkeit und entschwinden kurze Zeit später wieder aus dem Gedächtnis der Allgemeinheit. Anders als der Langfilm, der Auszeichnungen oftmals nutzt, um über Dauer und in vielen Kinos zugleich sichtbar zu sein, packt der Kurzfilm das Lob ein, um auf Reise zu gehen. Mit einer vage an das frühe Wanderkino erinnernden Mobilität begeben sich die geehrten Filme für eine Zeit auf Ausflüge, von Stadt zu Stadt und von Festival zu Festival. Wir freuen uns, auch dieses Jahr wieder eine handverlesene Auswahl an Preisträgerfilmen aus aller Welt für ein paar Tage zu beherbergen und sie Euch in all ihrer Diversität und Aktualität präsentieren zu dürfen.
